Charmaine, Justin, and I decided to go to downtown today in search for the korean culture in.. well, koreatown. ‘Twas a fun day indeed. Experienced a korean festival, walked around searching for korean items for me and charmaine’s english project, shopping, and tried on some mouth watering korean foods, gawsh! >.< Even got a free sample of the new B.B cream. Had much more time to waste so we decided to go to eatons mall but quickly left to go to other street stores. Craving for starbucks, we figured we would go back to Eatons. Suddenly, we saw police cars, ambulance, and firetrucks… not 1, but over 40!. We saw many people running and dashing out of the store as well. Charm found out from twitter that there was a shooting in eatons so as nosy as we are, we went closer to the mall. Unknown, we were also caught on camera for CP24… lol dead! …. Walked around ryerson campus and loved it :D.
All in all, this day taught me that we should never take life for granted. I wanted to go to urban eatery and if it weren’t for my friend wanting to leave the building.. who knows, we could’ve have been the unlucky ones.

I feel like as soon as everyone is in post-secondary, it’ll be harder to communicate since they’ll be too busy and hectic. I’m quite scared. I don’t really know anyone who’s going to my uni. May be my loneliest year
